So far there have been four productions of Tadzio Speaks . . . : August 2014 (the Space on North Bridge, Edinburgh Festival Fringe), July 2014 (Etcetera Theatre, London, as part of Desire and Pursuit: three one-man plays on themes of beauty, faith, obsession, November 2013 (lunchtime theatre at the Etcetera Theatre, London) and July 2013 (Lord Stanley Theatre, London, as part of the Solo Festival).

In 2012, Martin Foreman won the Solo Festival New Writing Award for four one-man plays, including A Sense of Loss with Christopher Annus. Tadzio Speaks . . . is a revised version of that play, which was based on the title story in Martin's collection A Sense of Loss.
